Vector image created with FreeHand drawing software; uses points, lines, and curves to create images that can be scaled with no loss of quality; FreeHand, which was originally developed by Macromedia, was discontinued by Adobe in 2007.
NOTE: Adobe Illustrator CS2 and later can open FreeHand 9 files, but not FreeHand 10 or FreeHand MX files; therefore, files saved with newer versions of FreeHand must be exported as FreeHand 9 (FH9) files in order to be opened with Adobe Illustrator. |
