Disk partition formatted using the MetFS file system; MetFS is a software system for establishing and maintaining an encrypted FUSE-based filesystem; data stored in the MetFS partition cannot be read without the user entering the correct password; until decrypted, a MetFS partition contains unrecognizable data.
MetFS partitions use the MFS extension by default, but no file extension is requried; additional information about MetFS is available at the EnderUNIX website.
